This type of modelling had never been undertaken before in the scope of non-emergency patient transport and provided valuable insights. The results of ORH’s modelling has allowed HealthShare NSW to build a more responsive and flexible patient transport service which has significant benefits to patients across NSW.

We found the staff of ORH professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with. The final report is extremely valuable to our operational and strategic planning as well as our long term financial planning. It is quite a new feeling to be able to provide our council with specific expected impacts when discussing operational approaches.

Working with ORH has greatly increased our understanding of the impact of ARP on EMAS operations.  The evidence provided by ORH’s analysis and modelling has been invaluable in enabling the Trust and its commissioners to identify the ambulance capacity required under ARP, and has led directly to Trust-wide roster reform.
