Objective

  • To develop an operational plan for improving call response.

Methodology

  • Steering Group formed to guide project at key stages.
  • Storm call-by-call data analysed to quantify current service profile and provide model parameters.
  • Simulation model built, validated and run to generate feasible options for achieving section-based targets.

Outcomes

  • A clearer and more accurate expectation of the performance effect from re-deployments and additional station locations.
  • Formed the basis of resource allocation needed for additional deployments and re-deployments.
